NIKE METCON 9 - WOMAN

The Nike Metcon 9 CrossFit shoe features a completely new design to position itself as the best Metcon to date. The 3 most important factors that have been taken into account during its design are: stability, durability and sustainability.  

The main innovations that can be seen at a glance are the Hyperlift and the Rope Wrap:

• The Hyperlift (the TPU heel plate) is larger in this latest edition to provide greater stability and to better distribute weight during heavy lifts.
• The Rope Wrap (rubber sidewalls) is much taller than its previous version to be extremely durable and further protect the shoe from rope abrasion.

More features of the new Nike Metcon 9 for women:

• The lightweight, breathable mesh upper features an embossed pattern in high-wear areas (such as the toe box) for added durability.
• The Metcon 9 replaces the Nike React foam in the midsole with a dual-density foam that offers the same reactivity and more durability.   
• The outsole innovates with a herringbone pattern for improved traction and also features grooves at strategic points for multi-directional flexibility.
• The toe is slightly wider to provide more toe freedom.
• It is the first Metcon to reach Nike Sustainability Level 2. This means a minimum of 20% is recycled.
• It maintains the lace lock from its previous edition, a system that allows the laces to be held in place during dynamic exercises such as double unders or box jumps.
